Events

The Muster has provided student performers for events such as:

  • The Moss Vale Christmas Forage, providing street entertainment.
  • The Beer & Cider Festival.
  • “Music in the Gardens” for the Southern Highlands Botanical Gardens.
  • “The Cockatoo Train Run”, from Central Sydney to Robertson.
  • “Pie Time”, Bong Bong Racetrack, Bowral.
  • “Pies and Pinot” night, Robertson Bowling Club.
  • Support for the Adam Harvey concert.
  • Organising and providing entertainment on Australia Day, Berrima fundraiser for local RFS.
  • Muster Jam Nights, where sometimes over 50 students turned up to sing, perform and run sound and lighting equipment.
  • Four competitions with significant prizes for those wanting to compete. Grand Finals judged by independent judges such as our musical patron Nicholas Hammond.
  • Two-day workshops “Finding Your Outside Voice”. These were run with the assistance of various professionals with a range of skills.

COVID-19

  • Since March, 2020, we have had to rapidly embrace the digital world with online Master Classes. There were 9 of these classes and over 160 students attended.  These Master Classes were only made possible by the involvement of a range of successful entertainment professionals.
  • A recorded Anzac Day Service.
  • A specialised Masterclass with Nicholas Hammond at Fairground Follies, Bowral, where the totality of the performance was packaged and filmed.
  • A specialised Masterclass with Zoe Carides at Berrima Retreat, Berrima, where the totality of the performance was packaged and filmed.
  • An online “United in Care” concert which was streamed into Aged Care facilities.
  • “Finding your Outside Voice” workshop with Nicholas Hammond, David Leitch and Dr Stephen Mould, at Fairground Follies, Bowral.
